Our Final Hurrah! (3/2/17)

Today marked our last day of clinic in Heredia. We continued screening patients in the community for musculoskeletal pathology and it looks like yesterdays home visits were a great success because each site saw many more patients than the previous day!

After returning to the convent for our final night, we prepared dinner as a token of our appreciation for the sisters and Costa Rican friends including burgers, hotdogs, fruit, and salad. We also celebrated Joan, Diana, and Melissa’s birthdays! It was a perfect way to end our time in Costa Rica and we cannot be more grateful for the opportunity to work with these amazing people.

As we sign off our final blog post, we want you to remember:

“If you’re fortunate enough to have more than you need, build a longer table, not a higher fence.”

  2. So proud of all of you. I’m glad you have had this experience. Carry it with you as you move into the “real world” of PT.
